I started my post college career in a corp job. Although it was lucrative it didn’t bring me joy at the end of the day. I had a friend who was trying to sell her home for several months with no luck. I told her to take it off the market for a month and lets see what we can do. I painted every inch of her home including doors and trim. Found items on Craigslist that we slipcovered to make it look like Pottery Barn. Spent several evenings and weekends getting the house ready. I loooooved every single second.
When she and her family returned from a weekend getaway and I received her call of pure joy at seeing her home….. that’s when I knew. This is what I wanted to do. Five years later going from three storage units to two warehouses and an amazing staff . We are living the dream.
